This site collects nothing about you. That is not a slogan — it is a description of how the page is built, and everything below simply explains it.
This is my personal site — Swapnil Dagliya, dancer, teacher and choreographer, in Ghent, Belgium. There is no company behind it: no shop, no trading entity, nothing sold here. I am the one responsible for anything you send through it, and I am the only one who reads it.
Work that runs through Shoonya Dance Centre or ABC a bollywood company is a different matter and carries its own terms; this page covers this site only. To reach me about anything below, use the Shoonya Dance Centre contact form ↗ and mark it for Swapnil.
This site sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser’s local or session storage. There is no analytics tool, no tag manager, no advertising pixel and no visitor tracking of any kind. There is nothing to accept, so there is no cookie banner.
Every file the page needs — the typefaces (Archivo, Instrument Sans, Shantell Sans), the images, the video, the stylesheet and the script — is served from this site’s own domain. Nothing is fetched from Google Fonts, a CDN, a social network or an embedded player, so your browser never announces your visit to anyone else.
The performance clips are files hosted here and play in the page itself. Where a film lives on YouTube, nothing loads from YouTube until you press play — and it then opens in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), under YouTube’s own terms.
The form at the end of the page (“What brings you here?”) writes your answers into a tidy message, shows it to you, and sends it to me through Web3Forms ↗, a form-delivery service that passes the message straight to my inbox. What you typed travels through that service for the length of that delivery; it is not stored on this site, and there is no database here.
If that delivery fails, the message stays on your screen intact and you can send it yourself through the Shoonya Dance Centre contact form ↗, handled from there under Shoonya's own privacy terms. Either way I only ever have what you chose to write — and that is the whole list: what brings you here, the dance style if you picked one, your city or venue, a date if you have one, who the people are and what level, the format, your name, your email and your message. Nothing is required except a way to reach you.
I keep an enquiry while we are talking and for as long as the work it turns into needs. If nothing comes of it, I delete it. Ask me to delete it sooner and I will.
Like any website, the hosting service that delivers these files may keep standard technical logs — such as an IP address, a timestamp and the file requested — for security and reliability. Those logs are created by the host as part of serving the page; they are not read, analysed or combined with anything by me.
The page links out to Shoonya Dance Centre, Instagram, YouTube and a few venues and festivals. Once you follow a link you are on their site, under their privacy terms, not these.
Under the GDPR you can ask what I hold, ask for a copy, ask me to correct it or delete it, or tell me to stop. It is one person and one mailbox, so in practice this is a short conversation. If you think I have handled it badly you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels.
